Overview

Coincurve delivers Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to your personal wallet within a few clicks of a button. No need to sign up, sign in or submit any personal ID documents. Our prices are cheap and fees are very simple. There are no hidden fees and you can rest assured that you have full control and own your coins at the end of the day.

We believe store of value comes from utility and use. This is why we only offer digital currencies that are actually spendable to buy goods and globally accepted​. This starts with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash have the same mission to become the global digital currency for finance, commerce and payments. However, they have different technological agendas to achieve the same mission. Both are valuable digital currencies built for payments.

There are no immediate urgencies to add more digital currencies at the moment.

Yes. We are registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FINTRAC: M19915056. We take compliance very seriously and follow strict policies.

TROUBLESHOOT

After receiving your payment, Coincurve is required to verify your information before we can deliver you the coins. This process can take up to 3 hours. Please be patient and review the Terms of Service. If you haven’t received your coins after 24 hours, please Contact Us.

Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

Coincurve is not responsible if you sent bitcoins to the wrong address. If we haven’t sent you the coins, please Contact Us immediately! If we’ve already sent you the coins, they can not be recovered.

No, we do not offer refunds. Please review the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.​

The most common reasons are:

  1. We never received your INTERAC e-Transfer payment within the 1-hour window after the payment instructions have been sent to you.
  2. The name on your INTERAC e-Transfer payment is different from the name you provided in your transaction.

We only accept CAD Flexepin vouchers. If your Flexepin voucher is in another currency, it will not be accepted in our system. For any other issues, please see Flexepin support site.

Coincurve follows strict rules to validate and protect our customers. VoIP and Landline phone numbers are NOT recommended and may be declined.

Additionally, we are unable to service the Province of Quebec at this time.

Coincurve follows strict rules validate and protect our customers. Every transaction is unique and goes through a security validation. Depending on the circumstance, we may ask you to provide additional identification.

If your provided information doesn’t meet our requirements for sending Bitcoin, your transaction will be cancelled and your sent coins will be sent back to you minus the posted mining fee.

Coincurve should strictly be used for personal purchases of Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

While transactions on the blockchain are anonymous and difficult to identify, Coincurve prohibits the use of our service to pay others in Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

Coincurve is not responsible for any loss of funds and/or virtual currency based on your failure to comply with our rules.

You must have a valid Canadian mobile number and access to your own cryptocurrency wallet to send us your coins.

WALLETS & ADDRESSES

A bitcoin wallet​ is a digital software wallet that holds your Bitcoins.​

Yes. There are many types of wallets that you can set up. The three most common types of wallets are:

  • A web wallet is a wallet ​that you can signup online to use as your personal Bitcoin bank. These wallets are easy to setup and are generally secure.

  • A software wallet is a software that you can download on your computer. Software wallets are usually more complicated to manage but can provide more security.

  • A hardware wallet is a physical device similar to a USB thumb drive. Hardware wallets are more expensive but can provide the most security for your Bitcoins.

Yes. Most web or software wallets are free.

Hardware wallets vary in price, but usually cost around $100 CAD.

No. We believe that Bitcoin is about control. Therefore, our customers should have full control of their Bitcoins and the freedom of selecting their own wallets.​

For web wallet, we recommend blockchain.com

For hardware wallets, we recommend Trezor or Nano Ledger.

No. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are different digital currencies. They have completely different wallets and can’t be used interchangeably. You will lose your coins if you use the wrong wallet.​

Once you create wallet of your choice, you can generate multiple receiving public addresses. These addresses can be safely shared with ​Coincurve or friends to deliver coins to you.

No. They are completely different digital wallets. Please always double check that you are using the correct wallet before entering your receiving address.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash addresses look very similar and often cause human mistakes with the user. Therefore, Bitcoin Cash Address (cashaddr) is a new address composition which make an obvious distinction from Bitcoin addresses. Bitcoin Cash addresses are longer and start with different characters.

Bitcoin prices are highly volatile with dramatic fluctuations. Coincurve provides an updated price quote every 10 minutes. This ensure price protection for our customers and Coincurve.

Security

Yes. We have the highest security standards for protecting your transaction and privacy.

Yes. ​We do not hold your Bitcoins, you do! Once Coincurve has verified your information and sent coins to your personal wallet, you have full control of your Bitcoins.

eGift Cards

EGift Cards are only valid and redeemable in Canada.

Yes, we are continually expanding our eGift Card selection. If there is a eGift Card you would like us to add, please Contact Us​.

Once we have received your payment in Bitcoin, we will send you the eGift Card directly from the eGift Card provider to your email address as an electronic gift card. Please ensure that the email address you provide is correct or you will not receive your eGift Card. We do not provide physical eGift Card at this moment.

We process at zero-conf to move the transaction along as quickly as possible. In most cases, it should take under 30 minutes.

However, it may take longer if there is high transaction volume in the network.

That’s okay. We’ll simply update your order for the new amount and provide you a eGift Card based on the amount of Bitcoin you sent in. EGift Card amounts will always be rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Every eGift Card is different. Instructions on how to redeem your specific eGift Card will be available on the email that contains your eGift Card.

Once you’ve created an eGift Card order on our website, we will review your provided information and send you a unique Bitcoin address to send your coins to.  This address is related to this order only.  DO NOT send Bitcoin to the same address for repeated purchases as we will not be able to locate and process your payment.  Always use the newly provided wallet address.

Interac E-Transfer

INTERAC e-Transfer is a convenient way to send money to another Canadian bank account. All you need is access to online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution. Then, you can send money to an email address or mobile phone number without sharing any personal financial information.

Yes. It’s as quick as sending an email.​

In most cases, it should only take under 30 minutes to process your INTERAC e-Transfer.

However, it may take up to 3 hours if there is a high transaction volume, as we need to verify your information and payment.

Flexepin

Flexepin is like cash. You can use it​ to purchase online merchandise and pay utility bills.

If you don’t prefer to use a credit card for online shopping, Flexepin can be used as an alternative payment method. There are many global shops that accept Flexepin.​ Please visit the Flexepin website for more information.

In most cases, it should only take under 30 minutes to process.

However, it may take up to 3 hours if there is a high transaction volume, as we need to verify your information and payment.

Flexepin vouchers can be Purchased Online or at Physical Stores in Canada.

The price ​varies depending on the store and the amount you wish to buy. It is typically 5 – 10% of the voucher’s CAD amount.

No. Flexepin vouchers are one-time use. To protect our customers, Coincurve does not allow partial amounts to be spent from Flexepin vouchers.

No. Only CAD Flexepin vouchers are accepted.​
